Being Dust in the Shadow of A Mud House

‘You are dust and to dust you shall return’, the human body is made from dust and it shall return to dust through the process called death, from the day a man is born, he begins his journey to his end- becoming dust. Dust is the only thing everyone will become no matter what they do because dust is who we all are, this is the only common future for all men and the only future we all want to get to as late as possible, is quite hard but true that Death is part of the bright future ahead of us all.

I don’t have a problem with returning to dust, my challenge is the speed of travel and the means of transportation. I know I’m going to die, but how and how soon is my concern, it is now my concern because what I grew up knowing about becoming dust seems to be no longer valid; Take for instance, while growing up I was told that being good will make me live long but right before my eyes the goodest people are dying before 40, I was taught that being a Christian is a way out of tragic events but I have seen beloveds die of incurable diseases, accidents, injustice, murder and so on. Starting from the cradle of the faith till now, the saints have not shared a common fate in death, some died old, others died young, some died naturally, others were killed brutally;

Even history has shown that the devil incarnates, men who are vermin to life and living die differently too, some died by justice and others lived long by injustice; it has become obvious that the speed of travel and the means of transportation in getting to dust has little or nothing to do with what a man does; nevertheless, it’s good to live well cos that gives more advantage to become dust late and as easy as possible.

Seeing a house made of mud and my body has a closely related entity gave me a deep insight into longevity, I have seen that

THE LONGEVITY OF A WELL BUILT STRUCTURE MADE OF MUD AND THE WAY IT RETURNS TO DUST DEPENDS ON WHAT GOES ON INSIDE IT AND WHAT GOES ON OUTSIDE IT;

What goes on inside the structure depends on who lives in there, what goes on outside the structure depends on who and what surrounds it, where it is located and partly on who lives inside the structure.

If the person living inside a structure of mud is a well natured and a well structured man, the house has more longevity potential, reducing the chance of destruction to external factors; that’s the reason why being good is of an advantage to longevity for the only threat remaining are the external ones. This means if I’m well natured and nurtured the only threat to my living long and dying well is an external force which I have no control over save the act of God which depends on both me and God….πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. This is my conclusion dear reader, the well natured and nurtured die the way they do and when they do depending solely on external factors which they have no absolute control over.

I Dedicate This Piece to My Mum Mrs Afolabi E. O. Whom I Lost To Breast Cancer on the 9th of February 2018, I’m sure you’re fine now dear Mum, See you again someday.
